School events and school visits

Our Youth Engagement Team provides fire safety education to children and young people within Cheshire.

Our dedicated team of schools officers and firefighters from local fire stations carry out educational workshops about home fire safety and visit Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 children each year.

Activities for young people

We run a number of courses and programmes for young people including:

• Cadet Scheme - a programme for 13 to 18 year olds which provides an insight into working within a uniformed service

• Prince's Trust - a personal development course for 16 to 25 year olds

• Primary RESPECT - a programme for Primary School children which aims to boost confidence and self esteem.

• RESPECT - a course for 13 to 16 year olds who have dropped out of school or are at risk of being excluded from school

• Fire Safe Scheme - a programme for children who have a fascination with fire
