Who we are?

The Protection team works proactively to promote fire safety within Cheshire, our Inspecting Officers do this by conducting audits to assess compliance with the relevant legislation. We work with multi-agency partners to carry out statutory consultations to support the safety of members of our community. 

To support our inspection programme we have a dedicated Business Safety team, providing the local business community with advice and support.  This enables owners, managers and other building occupiers to comply with their statutory duties under the Fire Safety Order.
