Starting salary of £25,584 per annum within the Salary Scale 4 range, £25,584 to £27,269 per annum

We are looking for somebody to join our Finance team as a full time Finance Assistant. In this role you will be part of a small team providing a professional Accounts and Purchasing service to Cheshire Fire and Rescue.
The main responsibilities of this role include:
Liaise with suppliers to deal with queries, obtaining quotes and raising and reviewing requisitions where necessary
Raising all debtor invoices and processing and paying all creditor invoices
Act as the first point of contact for the Finance Department
Other financial and administrative tasks to contribute to the provision of Financial services for the Authority, as detailed in the Job Description.
To join our team, you’ll have:
GCSE Mathematics at grade C or above
A minimum of A Level education or equivalent Finance experience
Experience of working in a Finance environment, dealing with debtors and creditors
Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills
Good communication skills
High level of ICT literacy, including the use of spreadsheets
