18.5 hours per week (2.5 or 3 days)
Salary S01, £33,366 – £35,253 (£16,683 -£17,627 pro rata rate) (pay rise pending)

A vacancy has arisen for a Leadership and Development Advisor in the Organisation and Leadership Development Team working within the People and Organisational Development Department at Cheshire Fire & Rescue Service on a 12-month fixed term basis.
We are seeking a learning and development professional to deliver organisational development initiatives, with a focus on leadership, management, coaching and team development. You will work closely with the People and Organisational Development team, senior leaders and departmental managers to identify learning needs and implement practical solutions. This role offers a great opportunity to have a meaningful impact working within the fire and rescue service.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with the People and Organisational Development team and stakeholders to assess learning needs and align them with organisational goals.
Deliver leadership programmes as part of the corporate training calendar.
Performing coaching and mentoring to support professional growth across the organisation.
Promote a positive and inclusive culture that encourages continuous development, collaborations and high performance.
Applicants will need to:
Hold a Graduate/Associate CIPD or equivalent qualification
Have experience of developing and delivering high-quality leadership training programmes, ensuring a blended learning approach that includes face to face training, virtual learning, coaching and action learning.
Evidence the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels with strong advisory skills.
Demonstrate the ability to measure and evaluate delivery against agreed requirements
Show knowledge of adult learning principles and modern learning methods.
Be able to work to deadlines, multitask and reprioritise work as necessary.
